How much is a bus ticket in Delhi?
₹5, ₹10 or ₹15 on a non-AC bus and ₹10 to ₹25 on an AC bus, depending on distance. 98% of route patterns in the official feed top out at ₹15.
Is bus travel free for women in Delhi?
Yes, for women, girls and transgender persons who live in Delhi and hold the free Pink Saheli Smart Card. Paper pink tickets stopped on 31 July 2026.
How much is a DTC bus pass?
A general all-route monthly pass is ₹800 for non-AC buses and ₹1,000 including AC, as listed by DTC. Students pay from ₹100 and senior citizens ₹50 (non-AC). Apply at dtcpass.delhi.gov.in or a DTC pass section.
What time do Delhi buses start and stop?
Most routes run from about 5 to 6:30 in the morning until about 9 to 11 at night, varying by route and direction. Some routes have night services.
What is the DTC bus helpline number?
DTC’s toll-free complaint number is 1800-11-8181 and its helpline 011-41400400, as given in DTC’s citizen charter. Complaints can also go through the One Delhi app or dtc.delhi.gov.in. In an emergency on a bus, call 112.
What is the difference between DTC and cluster buses?
DTC is the state-owned operator; cluster (orange) buses are run by private operators under the DIMTS scheme. Fares, passes and route numbers are the same. The feed splits route patterns 51% DTC and 49% cluster.
Why does the same bus number go to two different places?
Each number runs in both directions, and lettered versions (like 764A or 740EXT) are separate routes that share part of the corridor. Always read the destination board.
How many bus routes and stops does Delhi have?
The official feed lists 754 route numbers (2,403 patterns counting directions and variants) and 5,217 stops.

Where does BusPe get its data?
From the Delhi government’s Open Transit Data platform: the GTFS schedule for routes, stops and fares, and the realtime feed for live bus positions.
Does BusPe show bus arrival times?
It shows how many stops away each approaching bus is. The feed does not include reliable arrival times, so BusPe does not guess minutes.
Is BusPe free?
Yes. The website and the Android app are free to use and supported by ads.
Does BusPe sell bus tickets?
No. BusPe provides information only. Buy tickets from the conductor, the One Delhi app, or with an NCMC card.
Is BusPe run by DTC or the Delhi Government?
No. BusPe is an independent project and is not affiliated with DTC, DIMTS or the Government of NCT of Delhi.

Email support@buspe.app with the page address and what is wrong. Route and stop details come from the official feed, so we also check them against it.
